About Feeder League

March 25th, 2009

Feeder League is a website dedicated to finding good baseball content on the web and delivering it to the reader in a quick, easily digestible package. While there are a number of great websites out there that produce compelling content about America’s pastime, without a lot of spare time and an encyclopedia-sized RSS feed, it’s nearly impossible to find which articles are worth reading on a daily basis.

That’s where Feeder League comes in. We pore over the thousands upon thousands of words and images that make it to the web on a daily basis, and then promote the articles we believe are the most news- and discussion-worthy each day. As time goes on, we plan on creating content of our own to share on the site, and we hope to make it as engaging as the content we link on a regular basis.

Feeder League was born from necessity. We wanted to kill some free time one day by reading about what was happening in baseball, only to discover that it took as much time to find something worth reading as it did actually reading it. It’s our goal to alleviate that concern for our readers.

Two things separate us from other sports aggregation sites: 1) We’re dedicated entirely to baseball, and 2) We actually care about the content we’re sharing, rather than posting as much as we can each day and hoping something sticks. We hope we make the grade, and ideally your RSS feed, as we build the site into a great place for baseball fans on the web.
